A Portuguese man died this Wednesday night in Colombia, after being shot in the vicinity of the Bogotá Exhibition Center by two men who were traveling on a motorcycle, various Colombian media reported.
The event occurred at 10:30 p.m. this Wednesday (4:30 a.m. Thursday in Lisbon), next to the Bogotá Exhibition Center, where Agroexpo is taking place.
According to Colombian media, two armed men, who were traveling on a motorcycle, killed two foreigners, a Portuguese and a Venezuelan.
The armed men used a silencer to give them more time to flee the scene and a woman accompanying the victims provided information on their identities, El Tiempo reported.
Already today, the management of the convention center (Corferias) regretted the deaths and repudiated the acts of violence that occurred in the vicinity of the venue on Wednesday.
“Since the events occurred, Corferias has been in permanent contact with the competent authorities to provide them with all the necessary collaboration and follow-up. Corferias expresses its solidarity with the relatives of the affected people”, highlights the statement released by the Colombian ‘media’.
