Russian armed forces shot down two Ukrainian drones in the Moscow metropolitan area this morning, local mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.
Sobyanin wrote on the Telegram messaging platform that “two combat drones tried to reach the city” but “both were shot down by air defense systems.”
“One in the Domodedovo area and the other in the vicinity of the Minskoye highway. No injuries reported,” he wrote.
Moscow’s mayor also used Telegram two weeks ago to report drone attacks on buildings in the city’s modern financial complex.
