Ukraine announced on Monday that it had shot down three Russian missiles and drones aimed at Odessa on the southern Black Sea coast.
“The enemy attacked the Odessa region three times during the night, using two waves of 15 attack drones and eight Kalibr-type maritime missiles,” the Southern Operational Command wrote in Telegram.

Photos and videos shared by the military on Telegram showed firefighters attempting to extinguish flames engulfing a multi-story supermarket, which was billowing a large column of smoke.
Russia and Ukraine have intensified attacks in the Black Sea since Moscow last month ended an agreement that guaranteed safe passage for grain exports during the conflict.
