A jet plane crashed at an air show in Michigan, USA, and the two occupants were successfully ejected from the plane shortly before the crash. It all happened Sunday at the Thunder Over Michigan air show, which celebrated its 25th anniversary.
The two-day event was cut short when the plane crashed into the parking lot of an apartment complex. Several unoccupied vehicles were hit, with no one injured, according to CNN International.
The organization of the air show says that no one was injured, neither in the apartment complex nor during the event.
The pilot and a second occupant of the MiG-23 ejected before the device crashed and the moment was recorded and shared on social media. They suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital as a precaution, authorities said.

Absolutely wild footage from underneath the MiG-23UB (N23UB) as the pilots eject, you can hear the ejection seat pyrotechnics firing during the #thunderovermichigan Air show. This aircraft was delivered to the Czechoslovak Air Force in June 1981 pic.twitter.com/zWsZNY3Di8

The Federal Aviation Administration told CNN International that the plane’s two occupants ejected south of Willow Run Airport, near the town of Ypsilanti.
The US Civil Aviation Regulator (FAA) has launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
