Four climbers lost their lives on Saturday after suffering an accident while climbing the Citlaltépetl volcano, in central Mexico, but the bodies were only found this Sunday, according to local Civil Protection.
According to the authorities, the four people fell while trying to climb Citlaltépetl, on the south side of the volcano.
One of the climbers slipped at more than 5,000 meters high and dragged the rest.
Civil Protection, in conjunction with the Mexican Red Cross, activated the search and rescue team on the mountain to help recover the bodies.
