Guinea-Bissau will assume the next presidency of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), between 2025 and 2027, succeeding Sao Tome and Principe, which assumed leadership of the organization this Sunday.
The announcement was made by the President of the Republic of Sao Tome, Carlos Vila Nova, at the 14th Conference of Heads of State and Government, which is taking place this Sunday in that country.
