Two people were killed and three wounded, one critically, in a shooting outside a large shopping center in Austin, Texas on Thursday, authorities said.
The Austin Police Department has ruled out any threats to the public after the shooting on the north side of the city. No one has been arrested, the police reported on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
In addition to the two fatalities, the shooting caused one serious injury and two minor injuries, according to Austin-Travis area Emergency Medical Services.
Police asked potential witnesses to come forward and send photos or videos of the area.
