This week’s drone attack on Pskov airport in northwestern Russia was launched from Russian territory, the head of Ukraine’s intelligence services said.

“The ‘drones’ used to attack Kresty Air Base in Pskov were launched from Russia,” Kyrylo Boudanov said on the Telegram social network, also disclosing the Internet address of The War Zone portal, to which he attached a granted interview. .

“We operated from Russia,” the head of Ukrainian intelligence services said during the interview.

According to the portal, the official would not say whether it was an operation carried out by his men or by Russians acting on behalf of Kiev.

The War Zone portal has also released satellite images showing planes completely destroyed.

From Tuesday to Wednesday, the ‘drones’ hit Pskov airport, in a region of northwestern Russia bordering Estonia, Latvia and Belarus.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky welcomed at the end of July that the war is “coming to the territory of Russia”, without claiming operations from Russian territory.
