Russian Airbus makes emergency landing in Siberian meadow

An Airbus A320, of the Russian airline Ural Airlines, made an emergency landing today in a Siberian meadow, after an unspecified technical incident, Russian authorities reported.

“There were no injuries,” said the investigative committee of the Russian Federation, which opened a criminal investigation for “violation of air transport safety regulations.”

Images released by rescue teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations show the plane on the ground with no apparent signs of major damage.
