Russia on Thursday denounced a Ukrainian attack on the Black Sea Fleet and the annexed Crimean peninsula using naval drones and unmanned aerial vehicles, a day after Kiev damaged two Russian military ships in Sevastobol.

Half an hour later, the Russian army prevented “an attempt” by Kiev “to carry out a terrorist attack with drones” in Crimea, the note said.
According to Moscow, air defenses destroyed a total of 11 unmanned aerial vehicles over the peninsula, which was annexed by Russia in 2014.
Ukrainian media today reported explosions in the city of Eupatoria, in western Crimea, where several military units are based and where the Saka military airport is located, Ukrinform news agency reported.
Russia reported on Wednesday a Ukrainian cruise missile attack on a military shipyard in the port of Sevastobol, Crimea, damaging two Black Sea Fleet ships under repair.
The Russian Defense Ministry later assured that the damaged ships will be “completely repaired” and returned to service.
