North Korea’s representative to the UN warned on Tuesday that the Korean peninsula is “on the verge of nuclear war” due, in particular, to the “reckless actions” of the United States.
“The military situation on the Korean peninsula and its surroundings is heading towards the brink of a nuclear war,” warned Pyongyang’s ambassador to the United Nations, Kim Song, in a speech to the UN General Assembly, in which he attacked Washington’s policy in Northeast Asia.
