At least six people have died this morning following a fire in a nightclub in Murcia, southern Spain. The information was confirmed by the emergency services, according to the Murcia city council.
The fire occurred early in the morning in a well-known nightclub in the city. Firefighters managed to control the flames and found six bodies, but the number of victims could increase as the whereabouts of some people believed to be in the club are unknown.
The fire also injured four people, two of whom had to be treated in hospital for smoke inhalation.
