Pope Francis announced this Sunday that he will welcome children from all over the world, at a meeting on November 6 at the Vatican.
During a religious celebration at the Vatican, Jorge Bergoglio said today that the meeting will have as its theme “Let’s learn from boys and girls.”
From the apostolic palace, Pope Francis was surrounded by a group of children representing the five continents to launch the initiative, organized by the Dicastery for Culture and Education, which will take place in the Vatican.
“It is a meeting to manifest everyone’s dreams, to once again have pure feelings like those of children, because he who is like a child belongs to the kingdom of God,” he highlighted.
The Pope stated that with children it is possible to learn “the clarity of relationships, the spontaneous welcome of strangers and respect for all creation.”
“Dear children, I hope that you also learn from yourself,” he said.
