Ukrainian President Volodymir Zelensky thanked European military support and reported on the progress of Ukraine’s counteroffensive during the European Political Community Summit, which took place in Granada, Spain, EFE reported.
“I have informed Charles Michel (President of the European Council) about the progress of our counter-offensive and about Ukraine’s priority defense needs,” Zelensky said on his account on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
The Ukrainian head of state recalled that Ukraine can count on “additional military assistance” already promised by the European Union (EU) and some member states, as well as “stable support” for Kiev from the European Peace Fund.

Zelenskiy stressed the “symbolic and practical” importance of the informal meeting of EU foreign ministers in Kiev on Monday and thanked the EU for its continued support to Ukraine.
The Ukrainian President and Charles Michel also discussed the so-called Peace Formula presented by Ukraine to end the war and the withdrawal of Russian troops from its territory.
Michel and Zelensky also analyzed the “preparations for the World Peace Summit”, which Ukraine hopes will gain support for the initiative from countries on all continents.
