Many are still trying to leave, but there are also planes full of Israelis arriving at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport, the only one open in the country. Many of these soldiers were hastily called upon to join the general mobilization. In some cases, all the men in the family were called.

“My twin brother works in aircraft maintenance. My other brother and my sister’s husband are already in the south,” he says. TSF.
Avid has just arrived on a flight from Peru, specially chartered by the Israeli Government, to reinforce the troops on the ground. Now you have a marching guide to quickly join family and friends on the front lines.
“I came back to join the fight, to protect our land together with my friends. Everyone is waiting at the border. Some are already fighting, others have almost died,” says Avid.
Entering Gaza on foot is the most feared scenario. Only if it has to be that way. “I hope not, but if necessary I will do it,” guarantees the young Israeli.
Nev and Avid’s mother hopes that her other son, the one in the Air Force, can prevent Avid from having to enter the Gaza Strip.
“I hope we don’t have to go in. My son, who is in the Air Force, works all day, every day,” emphasizes the mother of the young people.
If the son of the Air Force cannot prevent it, everything indicates that the son of the Army will have to advance through Gaza. Still in September, the family went on vacation to Portugal.
