Airports in France evacuated due to bomb threats for the second day in a row

For the second day in a row, Four airports in France were evacuated again this morning due to bomb threats.

According to French television BFM TV, passengers were removed from airports in Montepellier, Lille, Nantes and Bordeaux and the authorities created security perimeters.

Already this Wednesday 15 French airports were evacuated due to bomb threats.

On the social network X (formerly Twitter), Transport Minister Clément Beaune warns that false alarms are a crime and guarantees that those responsible will be found and punished.

The Louvre Museum and the Palace of Versailles were also evacuated last weekend following bomb threats.

This after the terrorist alert was raised in France, following the attack last Friday, in which a teacher died and three people were injured at the Arras secondary school, perpetrated by a radicalized 20-year-old Russian-Chechen former student.

President Macron called the attack “Islamic terrorism” and forced the country to beef up security. The Vigipirate anti-terror alert was raised to the highest level and up to 7,000 soldiers from Operation Sentinelle were mobilized across France.
