The Israeli Army announced this Monday the rescue of a soldier, Ori Megidish, who had been held hostage by Hamas in the Gaza Strip since the October 7 attack.
The soldier was recovered on Sunday night during an Israeli ground operation in Palestinian territory, after which she was “medically examined.”
“He is well and has met his family,” reads a statement from the Israeli army.
In X, Israel Defense published an image of Oir Megidish with his family “at home.”
She is in home.

According to the most recent assessment by Israeli authorities, at least 239 hostages kidnapped by Hamas commandos during the attack on Israeli soil on October 7 are being held in the Gaza Strip.
The attack, on an unprecedented scale, sparked a war that has left thousands dead on both sides.
