At least four people died and one was injured in one day in two plane crashes in northern and southern Australia, ABC broadcaster reported this Sunday.
Around 7:15 a.m. this Sunday (8:15 p.m. Saturday in Lisbon), the pilot of a small plane died when the aircraft crashed into private property near Nagambie, about 150 kilometers north of Melbourne, in South Australia.
A 70-year-old man who was traveling on the same plane was injured but is in stable condition.
ABC also reported the death of three members of an aerial firefighting team, who died after a plane crashed shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Saturday (4:30 a.m. in Lisbon), in the northwest of the state of Queensland, near Cloncurry, northern Australia. .
Police arrived at the scene around 5pm (6am in Lisbon) and authorities said it was difficult to access the land.
