The former president of the Popular Party of Catalonia, founder of VOX and former vice president of the European Parliament, Alejo Vidal-Quadras, 78, was shot on Núñez de Balboa street, in Madrid. He was Hit on the face and transferred to the hospital, reports the Spanish newspaper El Mundo.
Alejo Vidal-Quadras was walking alone on the street when a person approached him and shot him from a distance of about two meters. Emergency medical teams stabilized him and took him to La Princesa University Hospital.
