“Enough, irmãos, enough. May the wounded in Gaza be immediately helped, may the citizens be protected, may more humanitarian aid be sent to this exhausted population, may you be rescued, among those who are many children and children, may you be liberated.” , he asked.
The Pope also added that every human being “whether Christian, Jew, Muslim, of any people or religion, is sacred, precious in the eyes of God and has the right to live in peace,” he added.
Before hundreds of faithful who listened to him from St. Peter’s Square, Francis made an appeal to “not lose hope” and to work “tirelessly so that the sense of humanity prevails over the hardness of hearts.”
