The three men who attacked an Israeli security checkpoint this Thursday that connects Jerusalem to the West Bank, injuring four people, were shot deadsaid the Israeli police.
“All three attackers this morning were killed,” an Israeli police spokesman said.
Israeli emergency services reported “four gunshot woundsincluding a man in his 20s in very serious condition” in a sentence.

Two other people were slightly injured. All of the injured were members of the security services.
The Israeli police further stated that “Three terrorists who arrived in a car from the West Bank. “They shot at the security forces.”
“Given the amount of ammunition, guns and axes found in the car, it appears that the attackers were planning a major attack or massacre in Israel,” Israeli police chief Kobi Shabtai told reporters.
This attack occurs in 41st day of the war between Israel and Hamas, in power in the Gaza Strip. War was provoked by an unprecedented attack by Hamas on Israeli soil, on October 7.
On the Israeli side, about 1,200 people died that day. In retaliation, Israel has been relentlessly bombing the Gaza Strip, which is under near-total siege.
Israeli bombings killed 11,500 peoplemostly civilians, including 4,710 childrenaccording to the Hamas government.
In the West Bank, a Palestinian territory occupied by Israel since 1967, more than 190 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli settlers and soldiers since October 7, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
The Israeli army is intensify raids and raids in response to a “significant increase in terrorist attacks” in the West Bank, with “more than 550 attack attempts since the beginning of the war.”
