US President Joe Biden warned Congress on Wednesday that the release of funds for Ukraine “cannot wait any longer”, as Democrats and Republicans fail to reach an agreement on a new aid package for kyiv.
The failure of a vote on additional funds would be “the best gift” the United States could offer Russian President Vladimir Putin, Biden added, maintaining that the Kremlin’s master, if he manages to dominate Ukraine, “will not stop there.”
The Biden Government today announced another security aid package from the United States to Ukraine, worth $175 million (€162.4 million).
