The President of Ukraine thanked this Thursday the decision of the European Council to advance in the negotiations for accession to the European Union and described the day as historic for all those who “fight for freedom.”
“The European Council decided to start negotiations with Ukraine and Moldova. I thank everyone who worked to make this happen and everyone who helped. Today I congratulate all Ukrainians,” Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on the social network after the Council President Charles Michel announced the decision.
