In front of the Israeli embassy in Lisbon, the non-governmental organization Jews for Peace and Justice will give a short speech calling for an end to the conflict, Dima Mohammed added.

The Human Cord for Palestine, he continued, is based on the legacy of solidarity that occupied the streets of Lisbon in September 1999, “in the enormous demonstration of solidarity with the people of East Timor and their struggle to end to the Indonesian occupation”.
