A private plane crashed this Sunday in the Baltic Sea, off the coast of Latvia.
The Reuters agency reveals that the Cessna 551 registered in Austria took off from Jérez, Spain, at 1:56 p.m.
The aircraft passed through Paris, France, and Cologne, Germany, before heading to the Baltic Sea, where at 18:37 hours it rapidly lost speed and altitude.
Sweden’s rescue service told Reuters NATO planes had been dispatched to follow the plane’s erratic path.
The number of occupants of the aircraft is not yet certain. Some media say there were only two people on board, while others say there were four.
