The Israeli Army stated this Wednesday that it carried out, in the last 24 hours, attacks against “close to 200 terrorist targets” in the Gaza Strip, as part of the intensification of its offensive against the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
In a statement, the Army stated that the military “identified terrorists” in the Shejaia neighborhood, in Gaza City, where a building was bombed from which fire was opened on the soldiers present in that area.
“The attack caused additional secondary explosions,” the statement read, referring to the possible presence of explosives at the site.
An air attack against “two terrorists” who went in a vehicle to a “weapons warehouse”, later “destroyed”, was also confirmed.
On the other hand, the Israeli Army indicated that the Navy “identified and attacked” a group that was in a building and that “represented a threat to the forces maneuvering in the Strip.”
“Naval forces also attacked Hamas terrorist organization targets in Gaza as part of their assistance to the coastal activities of the 14th Brigade,” he concluded.
The Israeli Army launched an offensive against the Palestinian enclave after the attacks launched on October 7 by Hamas.
