Four people, including three children, have been killed in separate attacks by the Ukrainian army in two Russian regions bordering Ukraine, local authorities said this Saturday, following a wave of massive Russian attacks on Ukrainian territory.
“Two children”, whose ages were not specified, were killed in the center of Belgorod, local governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on the social network Telegram, adding that some people were also injured in the attack.
The city’s water supply system was also damaged, Gladkov said.
In the Bryansk region, which also borders Ukraine, the villages of Kister and Borchevo were bombed, resulting in the death of “a child born in 2014”, according to the local governor, Alexandre Bogomaz.
Also this Saturday, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that a total of 32 Ukrainian drones had been neutralized in the Bryansk, Kursk and Orel sectors, north of the Ukrainian border, as well as in Moscow.

Belgorod is located 80 kilometers north of the Ukrainian city of Kharkov, which was heavily hit by Russian forces on Friday morning, according to Ukrainian authorities.
While previous attacks in the region have typically taken place at night, images on social media showed flames in broad daylight in what appeared to be the heart of the city, with cars on fire and clouds of black smoke rising between damaged buildings.
