According to local authorities, “several people” died in this accident that occurred early in the morning north of Leipzig (eastern Germany).
The tragedy occurred around 9:45 a.m. This Wednesday, March 27, a serious traffic accident occurred, involving, in particular, a bus on the A9 motorway, near Leipzig, in Germany. The vehicle heading to Munich was involved in an accident between the municipalities of Wiedemar and SchkeuditzerKreuzlocal police said.
According to the same source, several people have died and many emergency services are still on the scene. Police could not give the exact number of victims who died.
Traffic was closed in both directions and the circumstances of the accident are still unknown.
