Russia is on the offensive this Saturday. According to the Ukrainian presidency, Russian attacks have plunged more than a million homes in Ukraine into darkness. Almost half of which is located in the west of the country in the Khmelnytskyi Oblate.
On Twitter, Dmytro Kuleba, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, explains that “1.5 million Ukrainians are without electricity after intense Russian bombing of civilian infrastructure.” The head of the Ukrainian diplomacy evokes on this occasion an article of the Convention for the prevention and punishment of the crime of genocide.
For his part, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, accused Moscow on Saturday of a “massive attack” with 36 rocket attacks against his country during the night from Friday to Saturday. In a Facebook post, he believes “the assailant continues to terrorize our country. Overnight, the assailant launched a massive attack, with 36 rocket attacks.”
