The American actor Leslie Jordan, known for his roles in the television series “Will & Grace” and “American Horror Story”, died this Monday at the age of 67 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, in the US state of California.
According to police authorities, the artist felt unwell while driving down Cahuenga Blvd & Romaine St. and crashed into the side of a building.
“The world is definitely a much darker place today without the love and light of Leslie Jordan. Not only was he a tremendous talent and a joy to work with, but he also provided an emotional sanctuary for the nation in one of his most difficult times.” a representative for the actor said in a statement emailed to the Associated Press (AP) news agency.
“Knowing that he left the world at the height of his professional and personal life is the only consolation one can have today,” he added.
Born April 29, 1955, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Leslie Jordan won an Emmy for Best Guest Actor in 2006 for “Will & Grace.”
Recently, he appeared in the comedy series “Call Me Kat” by Mayim Bialik (actress who became famous in “The Big Bang Theory”), and participated in “The Cool Kids”.
