Entrepreneur Elon Musk, who is about to finalize the purchase of Twitter next Friday, entered the headquarters of that social network in San Francisco, in the United States, with a sink.
In a post on Twitter, the philanthropist who has three different nationalities (South African, Canadian and North American) wrote: “Entering the headquarters of Twitter, let that settle!”, which in Portuguese translates as “Entering the headquarters of Twitter. reflect.”
The expression used by the owner of Tesla takes on another meaning when he appears in a video holding a sink (sink, in English) at Twitter headquarters.
Musk’s $44 billion deal to make the social network his own expires until Friday, though the released video offers no evidence of completion of the acquisition.
Representatives for Twitter and Musk have not commented on the matter, but the company has confirmed the veracity of the video.
The businessman also changed his Twitter profile, referring to himself as “Chief Twit,” and changed his location to the social network’s headquarters in San Francisco, signaling the completion of the deal.

The Friday deadline to consummate the deal was ordered by the Delaware Court in early October.
It’s the latest step in a battle during which Musk signed a deal to acquire Twitter and then tried to back out, prompting the social network to sue Tesla’s chief executive to force him to complete the deal.
If both sides miss Friday’s deadline, the next step could be a new trial in November.
