Russia revealed this Sunday that it has salvaged the wreckage of the drones that attacked its naval fleet in the Crimean city of Sevastopol, guaranteeing that the Ukrainian military used the “safe zone” of a grain corridor, from which they launched the devices from a “safe zone”. civilian ship”.
“The marine drones were in the safe zone of the grain corridor,” the Russian Defense Ministry said, explaining it had “collected” some of the drone wreckage from the sea.
Russian authorities guarantee that one of the drones may have been launched “from one of the civilian ships chartered by Kiev or its Western masters for the export of agricultural products from Ukrainian seaports”.
In practice, this Russian claim justifies the fact that it has suspended the agreement for the export of Ukrainian grain.
Russia also claims that some of the drones used in the attack on Crimea had “Canada-made navigation modules”.
The Moscow Ministry of Defense guarantees that its specialists “carried out an analysis of the Canadian-made navigation modules installed in the unmanned marine vehicles”.
