Precision Air, owned by Kenya’s flag carrier Kenya Airways, was founded in 1993 and operates domestic and regional flights, as well as private charter flights to tourist destinations such as the Serengeti National Park and the Zanzibar archipelago.
Its fleet consisted before the accident of nine aircraft, including three ATR 42-500, one ATR 42-600 and five ATR 72-500.
