At least 31 people died in “attacks by the Israeli enemy” this Monday, November 25, in different regions of Lebanon, mainly Hezbollah strongholds, the Ministry of Health stated.
In a statement, the ministry said most of the deaths were recorded in southern Lebanon. According to the Israeli army’s Arabic-speaking spokesman, the attacks were aimed at “Hezbollah terrorist targets.”
A ceasefire about to be achieved?
For more than two months, Israel has been bombing Lebanon daily. Yes the Hebrew State. Nearly 3,800 people have been killed since October 8, 2023, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the majority since the end of September. For just over a year, the Lebanese Hezbollah, supported by Iran, has launched rockets, missiles and drones towards Israel. France estimated this Monday that discussions on a ceasefire in Lebanon have “advanced significantly” while the United States believes it is “close” to reaching an agreement. The Israeli security cabinet must decide this Tuesday on a cessation of hostilities.
