Russia rejected, on Monday, the news that the Russian Foreign Minister, Serguei Lavrov, would have been hospitalized in Bali, Indonesia, with “health problems”, before participating in the G20 Summit.
The Associated Press (AP) report cites three Indonesian official sources, who declined to be named.

The Russian reaction to the news came from the minister’s spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, who told Reuters this was “the height of forgery”. Later, she posted a video on social media of Lavrov sitting in the hotel courtyard in the Indonesian city reading documents.
Asked about the news, the minister said that journalists have lied for decades about Vladimir Putin’s state of health. “This type of game is not new in politics, journalists in the West need to write the truth,” he clarified.
The sources did not provide further details. Still, the AP said two Indonesian sources said Lavrov was receiving treatment for “a heart problem.”
