Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has urgently called a meeting of the Security and Defense Committee following information that two people have been killed near the border with Ukraine, in the Polish town of Przewodów, reportedly by two Russian missiles.
This Tuesday, Russia carried out a large-scale attack on several cities in Ukraine, including the capital Kiev, and these two missiles may have reached Polish territory, about 10 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
Polish government spokesman Piotr Müller announced the urgent convening of the meeting on his Twitter account.
According to the British newspaper The Guardian, a US intelligence officer has confirmed that Russian missiles have crossed the border into Poland, a NATO member state, and killed two people.
