Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said he was convinced on Saturday, April 19, to be able to bring the Israeli hostages back “without yielding to Hamas’ diktats”, saying that the war against the Palestinian Islamist movement was in a “decisive phase.”
“I think we can take our hostages to the house without giving in to the dictates of Hamas,” said Benjamin Netanyahu during his first television intervention, pregnant, from the rejection of Hamas of an Israeli truce proposal in Gaza.
“I will not yield to the murderers who have perpetrated the greatest massacre of the Jewish people since the Shoah (…) we are in a decisive phase of the conflict, and this stage requires patience and determination,” he said.
