War in Ukraine: Russia says that kyiv’s night attacks has “pushed”

Vladimir Putin decreed a truce for Easter on Saturday, April 19, while ordering his soldiers to respond in case of rape of the high the fire of Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia of continuing the fight.

Russia said April 20 that their forces had “pushed” the Ukrainian attacks launched during the night on Sunday, April 20, despite the Easter truce decreed by its president Vladimir Putin and accepted by kyiv.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the Ukrainian units tried, during the night, “attacking the Russian positions” in the sectors of Soukha Balka and Bayr in the eastern region of Donetsk. “These attacks have postponed,” he added.

The Russian authorities also reported Ukrainian attacks against the Russian border regions of Bratak, Koursk and Belgorod, in which civilians were killed and wounded.

Zelensky accuses Russia of continuing the fight

When he announced a truce on Saturday and Sunday for Easter, President Vladimir Putin had ordered his soldiers to replicate in case of a rape of high the fire of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, also said that Ukraine would respect the truce, but that his army would respond to any attack.

Volodymyr Zelensky accused the Russian forces of continuing the fight on Sunday. The Russian Ministry of Defense assured him that his soldiers “strictly respected the high fire and stayed in the front line and the positions they occupied before.”

He accused Ukraine of having bombarded the Russian positions 444 times in the artillery and 900 times with drones.
