These arrests took place in the regions of London, Manchester and Swindon, west of the capital, where searches are underway, police said in a statement.
“The survey is related to an alleged conspiracy aimed at a specific place. Agents have contacted the concerns to inform them and provide them with the necessary advice and support, but for operational reasons, we cannot provide more information at this time,” he added.
Several explored clues
Also according to the police, the Iranians are between 29 and 46 years old, while the age and nationality of the fifth man have not yet been determined.
“This is an investigation that quickly evolves,” said Met Anti -Terrorist service manager, Commander Dominic Murphy, cited in the press release.
“The research is only in your childhood and we explore several ways to establish any potential motivation and determine if this case can present an additional risk for the public.”
