The Kremlin said on Tuesday, May 6 that the Russian army would respond “immediately” in the case of a Ukrainian attack during the truce of hostilities ordered unilaterally by Vladimir Putin. “If the kyiv regime does not do the same and continues to try to achieve our positions or our facilities, an adequate response will be given immediately,” said Russian presidency Dmitri Peskov spokesman.
On Saturday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky denounced the “theatrical performance” of his Russian counterpart, acting kyiv’s rejection that still requires a high “unconditional” fire.
105 drone attacks
Russia said it would observe a high three -day fire from May 8 to 10, during the commemorations of victory over Nazi Germany during World War II.
Ukraine has not clearly said if he intended to follow this truce announced by Vladimir Putin, Volodymyr Zelensky, ensuring “not believing” that Russian forces would respect this surprise announcement.
The Russian president had already unilaterally decreed a high fire during the weekend of Pascal in April, which had led to a fall in the fight without being fully respected by the two fields. He has always refused to stop hostilities without a response of 30 days offered by Kyiv and Washington.
Ukraine was launched during the night from Monday 5 to Tuesday, May 6 to Tuesday, more than one hundred drones in the Russian territory, attacking Moscow in particular and disturbing the operation of a dozen airports, Russian authorities said, three days before the commemorations of victory over Nazi Germany.
The mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobianine, said that 19 drones who were going to him had been intercepted by the anti -aircraft defense, which increases the fears of multiplication of this type of attack in the next few days. In total, Russia was attacked during the night by 105 Ukrainian drones, said the Russian Defense Ministry in a statement.
