President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer arrived in kyiv this Saturday, May 10 to show their support to Ukraine.
These three European leaders went to the train that took them from Poland to Ukraine. Later they should join the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, they arrived at the station, later at the station.
This visit to the French, German, British and Poles leaders symbolically responds to the commemorations with great fanfare of the 80th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany held on Friday in the red place around the Russian president Vladimir Putin and about twenty foreign leaders, including Chinese president Xi Jinping.
“We will continue to increase our support to Ukraine. We will intensify our pressure on the Russian war machine until Russia accepts a durable fire,” he warned the four European leaders in a joint statement.

The four leaders were received at the station by the Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, Andriï iermak, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andriï Sybiga.
During the day, European leaders will pay tribute to Ukrainian soldiers and civilians killed and injured during the invasion directed by Russia, in Maidan Square, where the flags float in memory of the victims.
A virtual meeting will also be organized, together with President Volodymyr Zelensky, with the other leaders of the “voluntary coalition”, these western countries ready to provide “security guarantees” to Ukraine.
The opportunity to take a balance of “progress made for a future coalition that brings together the forces of air, land and sea” to help the Ukrainian army “after a possible peace agreement” with Russia, which has invaded Ukraine for three years, said the four European leaders in a joint statement.
A call to “high the fire” issued by Donald Trump

This is Emmanuel Macron’s second visit to Ukraine since the beginning of the war, after June 2022 at that time with German and Italian leaders.
