P. Diddy Trials: witnesses of their alleged violence heard by prosecutors

P. Diddy’s trial continued on Monday with the testimonies of two women, which detailed rapper scenes against his former Cassie companion.

Prosecutors in the Hip-Hop trial P. Diddy Magnate Magnate interviewed on Monday, May 19, several witnesses of their alleged violence, after a week marked by the testimony of their former partner, the singer Cassie, in the heart of the accusations of sexual trafficking against the rapper and producer.

At the end of this highly publicized trial, the jury will have to say that if the artist and the producer with multiple Grammys put their notoriety, wealth and feared influence in the world of hip-hop at the service of sex trafficking.

Last week he dedicated himself almost completely to the testimony of his former partner, singer Cassie. He detailed the “monsters” in the center of the accusations, sexual marathons where he had to deliver his body, under the influence of drugs, other paid men, to satisfy Diddy’s wishes, who filmed it. But the defense tried to show that he participated voluntarily.

On Monday, Cassie’s former best friend Kerry Morgan, whom he had met when they began together as models, described alleged physical and psychological abuses of P. Diddy.

“More the same”

“She (Cassie) had completely lost self -confidence (…). He had lost the spark. It was no longer Cassie,” said Kerry Morgan, 39, in the Court of Manhattan.

During an incident in Los Angeles, Kerry Morgan had urged one of P. Diddy’s security guards to “do something” to prevent Cassie from hitting the jurors.

According to her, Cassie was isolated because the entourage of P. Diddy, rap rap whose fortune was around 700 million dollars according to Forbes magazine, consisted of her employees and her associates.

“You could see that they (those around them) were looking to convince her that everything was fine,” added Kerry Morgan, returning in particular to the 2016 incident in a room at the Intercontinental Hotel in Los Angeles.

Cassie had been violently beaten by P. Diddy, a scene captured by video surveillance cameras, transmitted in 2024 by the CNN channel, then last week at the trial. We see P. Diddy, his real name are combs, drag him to the ground and hit him with blows.

Kerry Morgan, who then lived in Cassie, said P. Diddy went there and began to knock on the door with a hammer in his hand.

“I think he worried that he was entering and killing her,” said Kerry Morgan, telling the jurors that he had later recommended Cassie to leave P. Diddy or, at least, call the police.

Several access to anger were reported

But the singer, whose hip-hop star was the producer, would have answered “that he could not” because P. Diddy “controlled everything” and thus risked his “work, her car, her apartment.” “She would have lost all her livelihoods.”

Also on Monday, Dawn Richard, singer of the Danity Kane group, produced by P. Diddy and whose song Stop He has raised in the American Top 10 in 2006, testified by the violence suffered by Cassie.

In front of the jurors, he said that he saw P. Diddy try to hit his ex -girlfriend with a pan. Cassie had curled up on the kitchen floor, but the rapper, according to Dawn Richard, hit the ground.

The former group of the group reported another access to the singer, of which once in a restaurant in Los Angeles, where P. Diddy would have hit Cassie’s belly.

In the counter -examine, a rapper’s lawyer tried to discredit Dawn Richard, who continues at the civilian P. Diddy for sexual abuse, claiming that his version of the facts had evolved between his initial deposition and his testimony.

Dawn Richard admitted that her statements had evolved over time in saying that she had sought at first to forget these “difficult years”: “But every day that happens, it seems easier to remember.”
