A knife attack in a school in Pirkkala (southwest) in Finland wounded three students this Tuesday, May 20. The suspect, a student of the establishment, was arrested, the police announced that he was alerted to the attack at 10:42 am local time.
The three injured people did not suffer wounds that endanger their lives, said police spokesman Nina Juurakko to AFP, and added that the police were investigating the press information that the student would have attacked girls during the attack.
The school in question brings together a primary school and a university. The rescue has been sent there, police said in place. The suspect would have sent a “manifest” to the Finnish media on Tuesday morning, in which he claimed to plan the girls, before going to the police.
He also wrote that he had planned the attack for six months, according to local media.
