A 60 -year -old man died after trying to save two children who seemed to be “in danger” at sea, on Sunday at 4 pm, reports this BBC broadcast by Lincolnshirell on Monday, May 26.
The 60 -year -old had gone in the water, in the coastal complex of Skegra, east of the city of Lincoln.
The man died on the spot
On the site, emergency services were deployed for a rescue operation, including an air ambulance and the coastal guard of the facilities. The man finally died on the spot.
“A man unfortunately died after falling into the sea in Ingoldmells,” said Lincolnshire police spokesman in a statement.
