A setback that can scare more than one father. On April 30, a young 13 -year -old teenager was forced to leave a plane from the Swiss company parked in Bangkok, reports the Swiss Daily Blick.
If the first leg was as planned for the little lion who had left Thailand alone to join his brother, the return to Zurich was much more complicated. According to his father, Léon was taken from a cough on the plane, just before the game. But a host comments, informs the pilot, who decides to convert the child.
After takeoff, the Swiss company contacts Rafael, Leon’s brother, to take him to the airport. Flat: Rafael must also take a plane the next day to return to see his family.
“An employee told me not his problem”
Father, Jochen Backenecker, therefore, calls customer service from the airline. “An employee told me that it was not his problem,” the father informs the Swiss newspaper.
A second collaborator advised him to have a certificate of aptitude for theft for a doctor. After two rejections of two health professionals, Leon finally obtained the precious certificate in the hospital.
In the end, Léon was able to take off on May 1, with a third person who accompanied to take off. Flight price: approximately 540 euros against 189 euros for the hall.
Since then, his father says that his son remains “traumatized” by this episode, describing an “unjustified” expulsion.
“A pilot has the right to reject a passenger in case of disease symptoms,” said Michael Stief, Swiss spokesman for The Swiss Daily.
