Two rail bridges collapsed in Russia. In the Briansk region, at least seven people died in the collapse of a bridge on a railway tonight on Saturday, May 31. Shortly after, at night, it was a bridge in the Koursk region that collapsed when a locomotive passed over.
The locomotive “fell on the road under the bridge” and “Ferigó,” said the interim governor of the Koursk region, Alexandre Khinshtein. The drivers of the locomotive, whose number did not specify, were injured and taken to the hospital, he added.
Russian researchers said in press releases that these two events were caused by “explosions.”
Russia is investigating “terrorism acts”
After the Britak incident, the Russia National Railway Company had spoken for the first time an “illegal interference”, without making a direct link with the conflict in Ukraine.

Kremlin spokesman said Vladimir Putin was closely following the situation. The cases of sabotage of Russian railways occurred in areas near Ukraine. Ukraine generally does not comment on sabotage in the Russian territory. But it may happen that he accompanies him, considering that these are legitimate responses to Russia’s offensives against his own rail network.
