The UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, requested an independent investigation on Monday, June 2, about shots that killed dozens and wounded the day before the humanitarian aid center with the support of the United States and Israel in the south of the Gaza Strip.
According to the civil defense of the Palestinian territory, the Israeli fire left at least 31 people dead and 176 wounds not far from this food aid distribution center in the Rafah Governorate.

Antonio Guterres asked Monday the immediate opening of an independent investigation into these events and that the authors are responsible. “
“What a shame!” The Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs reacted in its X account, accusing the UN Secretary General for not criticizing Hamas.
The GHF, an organization with opaque funds, claims to have distributed six million meals since the beginning of its operations a week ago, but its deployment was marked by chaotic scenes and information informing the victims of Israeli fires near the distribution centers.
The United Nations refused to work with this organization due to concerns about their procedures and neutrality.
