Benjamin Netanyahu announced Thursday, June 5 that the bodies of two Israeli hostages arrested in Gaza by Hamas were repatriated to Israel.
The bodies of two Israeli hostages away from the Kibbutz Nir or during the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023 were returned to Israel during a special operation, announced on Thursday, June 5, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“During a special bet of Shin (the internal security agency, the editor’s note) and the army in the Gaza Strip, the bodies of two of our hostages held by the terrorist organization murderers Hamas were returned to Israel: Judy Weinstein-Haggai and Gad Haggai of Kibutz Nir Oz, if his memory is blessed,” he said in a press release.
“Judy and Gad were killed on October 7 and kidnapped towards the Gaza Strip,” he added.
