Israel proceeded to a “preventive strike” against Iran, said Israeli defense minister on Friday, June 13, after the president of the United States, Donald Trump, warned that Israel could soon attack Iranian nuclear sites.
“After a preventive strike of the state of Israel against Iran, an attack against missiles and drones is expected against the state of Israel and its civilian population in the immediate future,” said Israel Katz.
In Tehran, strong explosions were heard on Thursday night to Friday, Iranian state television announced without giving details.
“Strong explosions are heard in different places in the capital, Tehran,” Television said.
