France recommends that their nationals avoid going to Israel this Friday, June 13, while Israeli attacks in Iran are the object of a Tehran military response.
“Given the regional security situation, it is not recommended for French citizens, except for imperative reasons, to go to Israel and the Palestinian territories, even for tourist and family visits. The French passage that would be in Israel and in the Palestinian territories are called to the greatest surveillance,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs requests this Friday.
There is no robbery between France, Tel Aviv or Tehran
An identical message was published for the French with the will to go to Iran. “Due to the degradation of the security situation and the highest risk of regional military escalation, French citizens are reminded that they must refrain from any displacement in Iran, whatever reason,” said France’s diplomacy in his Ariane cable.
If the French are currently present in Iran “despite the recommendations,” France calls them “to remain very cautious and vigilant on their trips in the country” and to avoid demonstrations.
Flights from and from Imam Khomeini airport in Tehran are suspended. The links between Israel and France are also in the process of suspension, as announced by Transportation Minister Philippe Tabarot in the morning.
The new tensions spark was illuminated by the attacks of the Israeli army on Thursday night, this Friday, June 13. The Army led what it considers a “preventive attack” against the country accused of preparing to acquire nuclear weapons.
This Israeli attack, in a much longer context of multi-decnal tensions, led to reprisals from Tehran, who launched dozens of drones to Israel. The two countries, which have stormy relations, are occasionally attacking, without a long -term conflict and a long intensity since the beginning of the decade.
